RBC Wealth Management Continues US Expansion

RBC Wealth Management has appointed Tonya Nichols as a senior vice president, financial advisor of the Portland, Oregon office.

Alongside Nichols, Carolynn Ashton has also joined the Portland office as a senior client associate, the firm said in a statement.

Nichols has 11 years’ experience, and manages $122 million in assets under management, with $1 million in production.

“We are thrilled to welcome Tonya to RBC Wealth Management,” said Richard Sorenson, Portland office director. “She provides a vast amount of industry knowledge, along with a fresh perspective and high-energy, which enables her to best serve the needs of her clients.”

This publication recently reported on RBC’s expansion across the US, with the appointment of Justin Ferdula as director of its Chicago complex to oversee six branches.
